I.TRANSLATION
Translate the text  below into Indonesian language
Meanwhile the repair work to be done on the underwater hull are as follow.
  • Replacement of shell plates  and structural element of the double bottom and framing.
  • Leveling of dent and straightening  of  framing.
  • Elimination of cracks and leaks.
  • Repair of rudder , stern tube , and appendages.
If side plating must be repaired and replaced , it is necessary to use staging place round the hull. Wooden staging with several tiers needs a lot of sawn timber , and the preparation of wooden staging is indeed time consuming.

Jawab :
Sementara itu pekerjaan perbaikan bangunan (badan kapal) yang dilakukan dibawah air adalah sbb:
  • Penggantian kulit ( plat ) dan kerangka serta susunan gading gading bangunan dasar berganda.
  • Meratakan yang penyok dan meluruskan rangka.
  • Menghilangkan bagian yang retak dan bocor.
  • Perbaikan daun kemudi,tabung poros baling baling beserta perlengkapannya.

Jika plat kapal bagian luar harus di perbaiki atau diganti, hal tsb memerlukan penggunaan peranca yg mengelilingi lambung kapal, peranca kayu yg bertingkat-tingkat memerlukan papan yg cukup banyak dn dlm penyiapannya memerlukan waktu yg cukup lama.

III.TERMS OF SHIP’S ENGINE.
Answer the following question in English based on your own technical knowledged.
1.What would happen if the valve from the fuel supply tank was not open.
2.What would you do if the oil viscosity was too high.
3.Where would you look to see if the starting air pressure was too low.
4.When is it sometimes necessary to adjust the fuel pump.
5.What would you do if one of the filter was chocked.
6.What may happen if the fuel pump incorrectly set.

III.TERMS OF SHIP’S ENGINE.
1.If  the valve from the fuel oil supply tank was not open, the engine would refuse to start ,because there was no fuel in the pipe line.
2.If  the fuel oil viscosity was too high ,put on heating steam, circulate fuel line.
3.If the starting air pressure was too low, we look starting air pressure gauge.
4.It is necessary to adjust the fuel pump if injection timing wrong.
5.If one of the filter was chocked turn on no 2 filter and clear no 1 filter.
6.If the fuel pump is incorrectly set, engine start on air but refuse to pick up firing.
