1.Bunkering (according to the procedure)
Procedure of commencement of bunkering :
- C/E should be responsible for supervising bunkering and should liaise closely with the duty deck officer
- The flash point, viscosity and other characteristic of full supply should be checked to ensure that fuel is suitable for the vessel, it the fuel fails to confirm with the specification required be the vessel, the C/E inform master and should notify in writing the bunker supplier and charterers port agent.
- The C/E and barge master should check the security of the hose coupling on the bunker barge and the receiving vessel should agree on the pumping rate, failure to observe these precaution may lead the oil pollution and result in heavy tires and possibly even the arrest of the vessel.
- New bunker should be segregated from old bunker on board- if bunker are mixed. A mixed sample of the old and new fuels must tested for compatibility.
- New bunker should be tested for the presence of water of for loading the result should than be checked against engine manufacturers specification.
- Representative samples, which should be marked and sealed, should be taken at the ships manifold, and the C/E (master) should request in writing the supplier or the charterer’s port agents to attend during sampling if the supplier or port agents fail to attend, the C/E (master) must make a protest in writing.
2.Preparation for dry – dock and survey :
- Preparation of work list
- Preparation of docking plan.
- Dry-dock supply services.
- Under – water fittings blocks.
- Tank survey
- Engine survey.
3.C/E advising the fire officer commander on fires happened in machinery space. means C/E responsible and report to the master for fire fighting in machinery space if the fire has become too huge and can not be controlled by the hoses all the people will evacuate from the engine room. 4.Organizing for maintenance of engine room means to make :

1.POLUTION AT SEA” means the introduction by man, directly or indirectly, of substances or energy into the sea, which results or is likely to result in such deleterious effects harm to living resources and marine life, hazard to human health, hidrance to marine activity , including fishing and other legitimate uses of the sea.
2.All ship polluted the sea with waste products means that all ships discharge or release what so ever caused from shipping relation to harm full substances and includes any escape, disposal, spilling, leaking and pumping.
3.The pollution caused by tankers is mainly due to on oil, water emulsion which originates trim the cleaning of tanks. After discharging the cargo means that the pollution caused by discharging water mixture from tank cleaning without using oil discharge monitoring and control system.

C.How would you correct injection valve timing, if injection started late and ended early.

The correction of injection valve timing if injection started late and ended early are as follow :
1.Turn the fly wheel to the injection timing position usually indicate 15’ – 20’ before TDC
2.Adjust the adjusting bolt which located below of the FO high pressure fuel oil pump until the mark for injection is aligned
D.Name 3 reasons which would cause cylinder liner or cylinder head to crack.
Jawab :
Three reasons which cause cylinder liner or cylinder head to crack are:
1.The circulating of cooling water not properly
2.The combustion/process of burning did not work properly
3.The inlet temperature of cooling water was too low.
